And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom. — Anaïs Nin
Hey rosebud…stop waiting to bloom!🌹
In my last Sunday Seeds, I shared four subtle-but-profound signs that you might be entering a deeper season of self—one where you’re no longer content just skimming the surface of your life.
That post struck a chord with so many of you—and not because I told you what to fix, but because it reflected something you were already sensing…
That there’s more available to you.
Not more to do—but more to feel, to know, to be.
If you haven’t read the first post yet, it’s a great companion to this one.

You know you’re ready to go deeper…into greater self-awareness to live with deep roots and in full bloom.
But you’re wondering how or if you’re doing it “right.”
You aren’t the only one caught in the clutter of overthinking.
Writing this post got me thinking about my recent “decluttering season.”
I decided to “finally” clean out my closet—you know, one of those Sunday projects that sounds simple and ends with you questioning your entire identity.
At first, it was just about making space. But somewhere between the shoes I hadn’t worn since the Bush administration and the blazer I bought for a role I never really wanted…something shifted.
I sat on the floor and started laughing.
How much of my wardrobe was bought to impress people I didn’t even know—or to chase an image I didn’t believe in anymore?
That day, I donated three bags of clothes and one outdated version of myself.
The closet was cleaner…
But more importantly, my definition of “success” got simpler:
I want to feel like me in my own life.
While I’m usually a t-shirt and jeans, or athleisure-wear woman…
Give me a reason like a date night or a girl’s night and I’m game to dress a little sassy and unexpected. 😳
I can try wearing new styles because I’m more confident in who I am at the core…
And yet I know there will never be any more 4” pumps or shapeless dresses.
My guess is you are ready to redefine “success” for your life, too.
Let’s continue the journey with four more signs you’re learning to go deeper…
✨ You start to question the “rules” you’ve lived by
Whether it’s “good girls don’t ask for too much,” or “it’s selfish to change careers now,” or “you should be grateful for what you have,” you’re starting to hear these internal scripts for what they are: borrowed beliefs. You’re rewriting the rules—not with rebellion, but with reverence for your own wisdom.
This is what healing authority looks like.
✨ Your relationships are shifting—and you’re letting them
Not everyone will understand the new version of you. Some conversations feel harder. Some friendships fade. But at the same time, you’re attracting people who make you feel seen. Conversations that leave you buzzing. You’re no longer willing to contort for connection.
This isn’t loss. It’s alignment.
✨ You care more about your inner environment than your outer one
Sure, you still love a tidy kitchen and a gorgeous playlist. But now you’re more interested in the emotional clutter. The mental loops. The buried stories. You find yourself asking questions like: What am I avoiding by organizing again? What am I holding onto in my body?
You’re not just clearing your closet—you’re clarifying your values and beliefs.
✨ You’re more interested in integration than inspiration.
You’ve read the books. Listened to the podcasts. Been to the retreats. Now, you’re ready to live it. You want to apply, embody, and experiment with what you’ve learned. To take small brave steps instead of chasing the next big fix.
Depth isn’t loud. It’s lived.
If you found yourself nodding along with these signs, you’re not not broken or lost.
You’re on the path to transformation.
You’re in the sacred middle—a powerful place where your inner work begins to shape the outer landscape of your life.
You’re doing beautiful work, even if it’s invisible to the world right now.
🌱 The Practice: Choose one thread to follow
These four signs aren’t a checklist. They’re breadcrumbs.
And right now, one of them is likely showing up in your relationships, your calendar, your body, or your thoughts.
Instead of trying to shift everything at once, choose one that feels alive for you right now—and get curious.
Let that be your practice for the next two weeks.
For example:
- If you’re noticing shifts in your relationships, spend time each week in conversation with someone who makes you feel fully seen—and gently limit time with those who don’t. Reflect afterward: How did that feel in my body?
- If you’re questioning the rules you’ve lived by, write down one belief you inherited about success, womanhood, or worth. Each day, ask: Is this still true for me? If not, what do I believe now?
You don’t have to get it perfect.
You just have to stay present.
Keep walking. You’re already on the path.
Noticing any of the above four powerful signs or these in your life, means you are on a path of deeper learning.
A path that will reveal even more about how your inner growth is shifting your outer world.
Here’s the truth, my ready-to-bloom friend…
You don’t need to go deeper all at once.
You just need to notice where you already are.
Then, take the next best step…and keep practicing
